About Mike

Mike Sammer joined Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. in 2014 and has been in the real estate and mortgage business for over 35 years. He began his career as a real estate agent in Elmhurst, Illinois, where he learned the intricacies of the industry. Two years later, Mike decided to move to the mortgage side of the business and has found tremendous satisfaction in helping his clients reach their home financing goals over the course of his career. Throughout the years, Mike has watched the evolution of the industry, from when rates soared in the 1980s and the FHA loan reigned supreme, then a few boom and recessions years, and finally the current low-rate environment we are experiencing today. Opportunities abound in the current market, but not without guarded optimism and professional guidance.

As a licensed mortgage banker, Mike helps his clients make complete and responsible decisions so they can fully enjoy the many benefits of homeownership. He helps them to identify the right mortgage products while ensuring they are comfortable with their monthly payments. In addition to extensive experience in FHA and VA loans, Mike is also well versed in conventional loans and second home financing. He is aware of the tough choices facing many sellers out there, and he is dedicated to leveraging his personal experience in helping his clients navigate those choices. Mike prides himself on educating his clients throughout the process and making sure each transaction is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Mike is currently licensed to conduct business in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Florida. He currently resides in Winfield, Illinois with his wife and has two grown children.
