About Gisela
Gisela Schmidt is a passionate and knowledgeable mortgage professional with a background in real estate and finance. After beginning her career as a Realtor and then a personal banker, she was inspired to become a mortgage loan officer when she found that her clients needed a trusted mortgage resource during their homebuying journeys. Since becoming a loan officer in 2016, she has assisted numerous people with their home financing and given them the fast, efficient and educational experience they needed.
The motto that Gisela has always followed is “knowledge is power.” She believes that by teaching you all about the mortgage process, you'll be empowered to make your own educated financial decisions. Gisela's main goal is to positively impact each of her clients, even if they aren't ready to buy a home at the time. By walking you through the process, going over all your options and explaining even the smallest details, Gisela gives you a thorough home financing experience and fights for you every step of the way. Because she speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese, Gisela can help a wide range of clients.
Gisela was born and raised in Brazil where she earned her bachelor's degree in business and her master's degree in finance before moving to the United States in 2008. When she isn't closing loans, Gisela enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures, photography, yoga and Pilates.
